June 10, 2007 will forever be etched in my mind. The pain of answering the door at 3:45 in the morning, to find two police officers and a Chaplain asking me if I had a son named Joshua, was and still is unbearable. His only brother Jake, leaves the house to go places and fear runs deep inside me that he may never come home again just like Josh didn't come home that dreadful night. My only piece of comfort I have is that Josh and I were together just 3 hours earlier and I got to say good-bye, I love you and be safe. I did not know that it would be my last good-bye !. Josh was just 20 years old when a repeat drunk driver killed him and his girlfriend, Morgan, while they were out on a motorcycle ride. I will do everything I can in my power to not let Josh and Morgan's memory fade away, and to work with MADD to help stop this preventable crime. Death cannot take away that I am Josh's mother forever, Kimberly Milana
