Speaker’s Bureau
Volunteers communicate MADD’s message by delivering presentations to the community. There are two primary goals for this program: 1) educate the community on MADD’s top priorities: supporting the victims of this violent crime, preventing underage drinking, and stopping drunk driving, and 2) mobilize community support for the Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving. Skills/Training Requirements: completion of MADD orientation and training, ability to communicate effectively, reliable transportation, and experience in public speaking.
Community Engagement Coordinator
Serve as community contact for all speaking engagements and schedule volunteers for speaking engagements. This role will also be responsible for promoting the Speaker’s Bureau program in the community and arranging at least one speaking engagement per month. Works with Leadership Chair from local Community Action Sites. Skills/Training Requirements: completion of MADD orientation and training, experience in public speaking and training, experience developing and leading teams, experience with Excel, reliable transportation, and good organizational skills.
