Community Champions
Be a steering committee or day-of-event volunteer for your local MADD Community Champions event which recognizes and honors leaders who work to make our communities safer and have made a commitment to MADD. This is a unique opportunity to network with community leaders during the VIP party and the awards luncheon. There are several volunteer opportunities including silent auction, photography, public relations, cashier/registration, and steering committee. Skills/Training Requirements: completion of MADD orientation, good communication skills, ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
Community Outreach
Connect with community partners and local businesses to encourage financial support to help MADD’s mission grow. Supply partners and businesses with promotional materials for MADD events (e.g., ribbons for Tie One On For Safety). Skills/Training Requirements: completion of MADD orientation, good organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively, reliable transportation and comfortable approaching community partners and businesses to procure financial support.
Special Events Committee
Special events committee members assist in planning, organizing, and implementing special events to advance MADD’s mission. Skills/Training Requirements: completion of MADD orientation, good organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively, reliable transportation and comfortable approaching community vendors to procure products and services for event and working with community partners.
