Why Do You Volunteer for MADD Nebraska?

“I have a caring passion for victims of drunk drivers. Their loss seems so senseless and catastrophic and created by someone who purposely used a substance that can harm others as well as themselves.”

“The volunteer work I do with MADD is not something that is essential for the program to flourish or thrive. I volunteer because I am a believer in the benefits and education of the program that it provides to those individuals that attend. MADD gets to the heart of the real issues of what impact drunken driving plays in real peoples lives. “

“I am a wife, a mother of three, grandmother of six, with many family members, and friends. There are many scary things happening in this world but I am hoping that getting into a car and worrying about getting hit by a drunk driver is no longer one of them.  Now that I am retired, I am court monitoring.  In some small way I hope to improve the odds for all of us.”

“As a MADD Nebraska volunteer, I get to help fight a mission locally. There are so many opportunities for volunteers, but MADD offers a volunteer the power to have an impact on the State we all love to live in.”
